Job Description & Requirements
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of the analytical laboratory to conduct
- test on flavours, food materials, plants and natural fruits
- Conduct analysis of market flavours, fragrances and end products on the GCMS
- through various extraction and separation techniques
- Provide support to Flavour R&D where test and extraction technique is required
- Review of all laboratory results, project reports and presentations
- Assist in the establishment of standard operating procedures to ensure quality
- system in the Analytical Lab is in compliance with Company’s standards and
- procedures
- Maintain system documentation and change requirement in accordance to
- Company’s standards and procedures
- Responsible for the proper function and maintenance of all equipment in Analytical
- Lab
- Coordinate and assist in stock maintenance and management of analytical
- chemicals/solvents and laboratory supplies to ensure smooth and efficient
- management of Analytical Lab
- Ensure analytical chemicals/solvents raw materials are stored correctly to ensure
- quality and safety
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Review and keep abreast of current trends and methodologies in analytical testing
- To carry out any additional job related duties that may be assigned from time to time
- Implement and conform to all established environmental management system
- Support the implemented environmental management system
- Comply with all applicable procedures and legal and other requirements
- Comply with Takasago Group’s Charter of Corporate Behaviour and Code of
- Conduct accordance to the Employee Handbook
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of Organic Chemistry
- Familiar with Flavour raw materials
- Familiar with GCMS
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
