We are actively seeking top-tier talent capable of bringing expertise as #SafetySpecialist for our client, a leading Software Development company which a trusted community marketplace in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and integrate core tasks by building rapport with community members and stakeholders.
- Identify and de-escalate crisis situations while managing emotions effectively.
- Implement policies to safeguard community interests and collaborate on policy refinement.
- Handle cases involving safety concerns using trauma-informed approaches.
- Execute emergency plans and communicate them sensitively.
- Summarize incidents, coordinate with support teams, and maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling to meet operational needs.
Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent
- At Least 3+ years of relevant experience in Customer Service, Safety & Escalation or related fields.
- Background in advocacy, crisis management, or similar roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to new technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle pressure, make quick decisions, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin language as this role will be covering the GCR region.
- Open to contract roles for 12 months - renewable!
- Amenable to PM shift likely 1 PM to 10 PM or 2 to 11 PM, 5 days a week includes 1 weekend (ie. Tue to Sat/ Sun to Thur)
