Job Description:
· Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of vegetables, meat, and seafood products.
· Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of products and accurate inventory management.
· Implement and enforce proper handling and storage procedures to maintain product freshness and quality.
· Lead and train warehouse staff in best practices for handling perishable goods, including temperature control and hygiene standards.
· Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstocking.
· Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
Requirements:
Prior related working experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food industry with a focus on vegetables, meat, and seafood products.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
Familiarity with perishable goods handling requirements, including temperature control and sanitation standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor warehouse staff.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems.
