You will play a crucial role in providing specialized medical care to women across all stages of life. In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will be expected to build and maintain your own patient base.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine gynecological examinations, including pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast exams.
- Diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions and disorders, such as menstrual irregularities, infertility, pelvic pain, and menopausal symptoms.
- Providing prenatal care, monitoring fetal development, and managing labor and delivery.
- Performing gynecological surgeries, such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and procedures to treat conditions like endometriosis and uterine fibroids.
- Counselling patients on contraceptive options, family planning, and reproductive health.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, nurses, and radiologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Keeping detailed and accurate medical records, including patient histories, examination results, and treatment plans.
- Building and maintaining your own patient base through networking, referrals, and community outreach efforts.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Proven experience as a Gynecologist, with a strong clinical background in women's health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Dedication to providing compassionate care and promoting women's health and well-being.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in medical practice.
- Ability to build and maintain your own patient base through networking, referrals, and community outreach efforts.
