Responsibilities
- Lead a team of experienced Building Executives in managing the building operations and facilities, including outsourcing services
- Manage, supervise, and check on the quality of work delivered by the team and vendors. Ensure that the routine maintenance works and services are carried out satisfactorily and adequately.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the building is in good condition, e.g. cleanliness, car park and signages etc. Follow up with rectifications and make recommendations.
- Prepare budget planning, management reports, contracts review, vendor performance evaluation and monitoring the general building repairs and defect works.
- Work closely with the M&E team to manage the building’s facilities and equipment.
- Prepare, call, evaluate, and administer quotations and tenders for preventive & corrective maintenance, repairs & replacement works, services and supplies, and advise on selecting suitable vendors specialists and award such quotations and tenders.
- Participate in the building’s Green Mark upgrading standards and requirements and update the building’s policies and compliance regularly.
- Conduct regular inspections of the fire protection facilities and systems and ensure that the systems are satisfactory and serviceable.
- Conduct and lead the fire evacuation drills and tabletop exercises in compliance with SCDF’s regulations, including fire inspections by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
- Budget Control and Preparation for Operations and Capital Expenditures
- Liaise with all relevant authorities on the building, apply and obtain all necessary licenses and certificates. Manage and maintain proper records, files, correspondence, and documents.
Job Requirements
- Recognised degree in Building Management, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity
- Strong leadership, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service oriented with a positive attitude
- Good team player and able to work independently
