Our Client is the world's largest Furniture Manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal guidance to corporate clients on a range of business-related legal matters.
- Create, assess, and negotiate various contracts and agreements, encompassing partnership agreements, licensing agreements, employment contracts, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance principles and regulations, offering guidance on board meetings, corporate resolutions, and bylaws.
- Monitor shifts in laws and regulations impacting the company's industry and operations, devising strategies for compliance.
- Manage and safeguard intellectual property assets worldwide, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Supervise legal disputes and litigation, either directly or through collaboration with external law firms.
- Offer counsel on employment-related legal matters such as hiring, terminations, discrimination, harassment, and labor law compliance.
- Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies to uphold legal boundaries, including global management of the Group's insurance policies and handling insurance claims with various stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of legal developments and conduct research to deliver well-informed legal opinions and advice.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law.
- Several years of experience in corporate law, either in-house or at a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, intellectual property law, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ethical and professional conduct.
- Willingness to travel overseas when necessary.
