Area Manager

Tam Jai (singapore) Pte. Ltd.

Operational:

  • Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of the assigned outlets
  • Lead a team of Senior/Outlet Managers in achieving sales targets and overall performance of outlets
  • Overall accountable to an area or portfolio assigned including P&L, fulfillment of targets and policies of the company
  • Ability to lead and set directions as well as provide guidelines to the operation team according to company SOPs and operational workflows
  • Monitor sales and provide routine/monthly sales reports with recommendations for business reviews with management
  • Ensure proper cost control on all expenses according to budget and provide suggestions on cost saving
  • Review and provide feedback to Outlet Managers and the team with relations to job assignments according to operational needs in order to achieve and maximize work efficiency
  • Cooperate with various supporting departments to ensure smooth daily workflow

Service and Quality:

  • Maintain and improve established quality and service standards
  • Uphold the highest standards of food quality and food hygiene standards across all outlets by conducting regular inspections
  • Develop subordinates by providing ongoing feedback for operational improvement and establishing performance expectations
  • Direct and manage outlets according to the company SOPs and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct investigations & prepare reports for all incidents happened at outlet and put up recommendations
  • Ability to respond to the customer or team members comments and feedback professionally
  • Manage staff performance and disciplinary issues
  • Resolve customers’ complaints and operational issues

Administrative:

  • Strategically plan and review weekly manpower schedules to achieve optimal operational standards and control manpower costs effectively
  • Effectively communicate company policies and procedures to staff
  • Prepare and timely submission of reports to Operations Manager and relative supporting departments
  • Review staff performance and provide recommendation on staff confirmation, promotion and training to enhance their work performance
  • Handle disciplinary issues, grievances, disputes and work tension among the team
  • Perform other tasks or duties assigned by the Operations Manager


Requirements:

  • At least 3-4 years of supervisory experience in relative industries: F&B/Customer Services/Hotels/other hospitality sector
  • Positive working attitude with good teamwork spirit
  • Possess leadership skills with ability to guide and coach a group of Outlet Managers
  • Responsible and ability to maintain quality of work
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong adaptability to a fast-pace working environment
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and etc)
  • Knowledge of POS systems
