Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Implement appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act
- Enforce all safety requirements and company safety rules and regulations
- Conduct regular site checks and take appropriate corrective actions
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure ECM and environmental plans in place
- Maintain and update all WSH records, certificates and reports in accordance with WSH legislation
- Oversee and lead the site safety team and subcontractors in the implementation of company's safety systems.
- Liaise closely with site operations staff and project manager on all safety and health issues.
- To supervise safety and promote safe conduct.
- To inspect and rectify any unsafe place of work.
- To correct any unsafe practice;
- Conduct regular safety inspections/audits to identify safety and health hazards and conduct safety gap analysis.
- Assist in accident reporting and investigations as well as toolbox meetings.
- Assist in all areas of safety planning and incident prevention.
- Attend to any government agencies, insurance companies, auditors etc.
- Any other duties as stipulated in WSH Act
Job Requirements:
- MOM registered WSHO.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in building & construction.
- Able to work across all departments and functions.
- Knowledge of the construction industry activities
