We are looking for a Key Accountant for a permanent position to grow our office in Singapore.
The position includes the responsibilities of handling full sets of accountings for two French entities, posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
The Key Accountant manages accounts receivable and issue invoices, accounts payable and performs reconciliations.
It consists of assisting in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines. Furthermore, assisting with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
The Key Accountant assists and communicates with local colleagues about accounting duties in French language.
This position is responsible to prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports, monthly/yearly GL closings and assist accounting team leaders about annual audit and other local statutory reporting (e.g. French VAT).
Finally, update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed, communicate and liaison with different internal business partners about accounting matters and assist with other accounting projects.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
- A master’s degree in accounting, with a proven experience of minimum 6 years as an accountant.
- A very good understanding of French accounting (French GAAP) and financial reporting principles and practices
- Excellent organizing abilities and communication skills.
- Good multicultural and international relationship skills
- Great attention to detail, with an analytical acumen.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with the computer software SAGE.
