Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of Training, Development and Competency Department including planning and budgeting
  • Continuous review of the training material, mode of delivery and training management system to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the training processes.
  • Continuous review of the Skills, Knowledge, Experience Competency model to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Competency Stamp Management (CSM) Framework
  • Engage stakeholders and internal customers to understand their requirements and improve the experience/ agility/flexibility to meet business needs while complying to regulatory requirements
  • Be part of cross functional team to review common causes of events/audits and drive initiatives to enhance knowledge retention/ reinforce requirements .
  • Conduct meta analysis and context sensitivity review on CSM and Training program effectiveness with clear measures of success
  • Hire, mentor and develop trainers and assessors.
  • Incorporate modern training methods/technological solution to increase training effectiveness.
  • Continuous improvements of SAESL CSM and training system, examples by benchmarking against MRO's, customers or other industries best practices.
  • To perform other duties as assigned by supervisory management.

Requirements

  • 2years experience managing training
  • Experience in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
  • Candidate hold any of the following training certification ACTA - Advanced Certificate I Training & Assessment, ACLP – Advanced Certificate in Learning & Performance, DACE – Diploma in Adult Continuing Education, or DDDLP – Diploma in Design & Development of Learning for Performance" would be advantage
  • Those with aviation experience would be an advantage
