Job Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspection and follow up closely with contractors on any rectification /repair on critical fire and building equipment
- Conduct daily check to ensure building emergency escape route are free from obstruction
- Conduct fire safety training, fire drills, table-top exercise and other fire related activities for all staff
- Assist and work closely with the facility manager to ensure smooth running and operations of site which including liaison with landlord/tenants
- Ensure proper and timely submission of documents for compliance to respective regulatory bodies and customer’s requirement including monthly inspection report
- Implement fire safety procedures and conduct fire drills and other crisis management campaign
- Review, formulate and update fire emergency plan and procedures as necessary to ensure compliance to customer’s requirement
- Ensure subcontractors/vendors personnel is equipped with proper PPE, adhere to proper safety work procedure and qualified to perform the respective work order
- Prepare monthly safety report and update management on any discrepancies, findings and improvement area
- Plan and ensure maintenance of fire protection systems and other M&E systems that are link to the fire alarm system are carried out by contractors as scheduled.
- Updated on latest regulatory requirements as stipulated by the governing authority
Job Requirement
- Must be a certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) by SCDF
- Diploma/Degree in Property/Building Management, Facility and/or Engineering field
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experiences in commercial, industrial, hospital or hospitality environment
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good communication and people management skills
