JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide technical support and conduct process trials/experiments for both research and industry projects.
- Be an integral member of a metal casting team involving the operation of heavy machinery.
- Conduct materials characterization and testing.
- Engage with industry partners, customers and research collaborators to develop and execute plans.
- Provide timely project update and reports to team members, collaborators, and sponsors.
- Perform other ad-hoc roles / tasks as required / assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / Materials Science and Engineering.
- Experience and knowledge in metallurgy, metal solidification and behaviour.
- Knowledge with CAD or SolidWorks is preferred but not required.
- Experience in an R&D environment or related industry is preferred but not required.
