Develop New Regional Markets
- Responsible to develop the new market development strategy, including but not limited to conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels
- Enhance and ensure regional alignment of Satair Customer offer with Airbus C/S to drive Airbus Services’ and Satair’s strategic ambition
- Ensure material services representation in the regional development with focus on downstream activities
- Ensure a document coherent view of the customer behaviour in a region
- Establish and project new ideas of regional or sub-regional customer approaches, quantify and validate potential and organise execution
Develop Commercial Business Growth
- Identify downstream business opportunities driven by customer behaviour and translate these to potential business development / transformation initiatives for Satair
- Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections
- Support the roll out of customer-oriented projects that improves Satair support and/or competitive position
- Analyse market captured and gaps and develop strategies to close gaps and globally increase market shares
- Work together with solutions Sales Directors where new company set ups are required to execute specific solution deals
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible to develop the new market development strategy, including but not limited to conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels
- Responsible for reporting and interfacing with the Satair head of regions to develop the Airbus interfaces
- Work close with Account Directors and Solution sales to identify downstream growth opportunities
- Document the regional development and trends with focus on identifying business opportunities for Satair
- Understand / document / communicate / translate the competitive landscape patterns of technological enablement and abilities at our customers sustainability action and needs of our customers
- Participate in development projects that goes across functions as the ‘voice’ of the market
- Build a robust and wide understanding of the industry, especially airline and MRO needs but also other market potentials
- Create and maintain a robust global market portfolio of competitors or tendencies in other markets
- Lead the creative process to identify new downstream growth opportunities
- Lead the qualification process of downstream growth opportunities with relevant functions and the decision process und full respect of risk management and compliance to code of conduct
- Align and challenge the defined company strategy for specific downstream opportunities into new markets
- Further define the new role of commercial development and ensure consistent alignment with other function across the enhancements
Secondary Responsibilities
- Support organisation and all stakeholders from market and growth perspective.
- Support local, regional and global strategy definitions
- Support capacity and efficiency improvement projects with robust expansion plans and market development studies
- Proactively support product, process, market understanding and team knowledge improvements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5-10 years working experience in the Aerospace Industry
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Working knowledge of English, both orally and in writing
- Experience in inventory management/supply chain operations
- Effective organisational and planning skills
- Very strong negotiation skills
- High degree of aviation business understanding specifically in the area of spares support, supply chain management and A/C maintenance
- Background on legal aspects in the area of services contracts
