We specialise in foreign exchange, credits and rates, structured derivatives, equities and debt, equity and equity-linked capital markets.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Director - Emerging Markets FX Trading.
Principal Responsibilities
- Market making for the Emerging market FX trading franchise
- Effective monitoring of risk controls and ability to demonstrate mitigation of risk scenarios
- Maintain strong relationships with client base, in partnership with Sales
- Actively support eFX initiatives, with a focus on market share and revenue
- Maximize revenue generation through effective risk management
- Ensure competitive pricing in EM currency in products responsible
- Explore new revenue sources across the business, both internally and externally
- Keep track of performance through quantifiable metrics (KPI’s)
- Provide excellent service to clients both in pricing and execution
- Collaborate with quants/development team to improve systems / technical tools
- Provide market colour through commentaries and trade ideas
- Effective cooperation with other relevant teams in as well as abroad
- Promote culture in which all teams within GFX work together as one team via effective communication and true teamwork mentality
Qualifications
- Strong track record in trading EM currencies
- Solid understanding of macroeconomic and political factors affecting primary markets
- Strong Knowledge of the FX offshore markets and onshore dynamics in the EM space
- Strong interaction skills and proven communication capabilities
To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
