Key Responsibilties


(A) Development and management of competency framework:

  • Project manage the development and update of competency framework for legal industry
  • Consult and collaborate with relevant stakeholders for the development and update of competency framework
  • Conduct studies, including interviews and focus groups, to ensure frameworks are updated and relevant to the legal industry

(B) Development and maintenance of training roadmap

  • Coordinate with training providers and partners to produce a training roadmap for the legal industry, according to the competency framework.
  • Review and ensure training roadmap is updated regularly

(C) Industry engagement

  • Work with government stakeholders such as Minlaw and Skillsfuture Singapore to promote awareness and adoption of framework and training roadmaps
  • Carry out outreach and education efforts to legal industry
  • Engage and maintain relationships with training providers and partners to use framework for designing training courses for legal industry.

Key Specification

  • A good degree from a recognised university with at least 6 years' relevant experience in adult education or learning & development.
  • Familiarity with Skillsfuture Singapore frameworks. Proficiency with developing and updating competency frameworks preferred.
  • Experience in legal industry and continuing legal education would be an advantage.
  • Able to build positive and productive relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal, writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Meticulous, resourceful, creative and organised.
  • Able to work confidently with members of the Judiciary and legal community.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
