Our client is a Global Manufacturing MNC which is a leader in specialty chemicals, is renowned for its expertise in surface treatment and metalworking. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Procurement Executive to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for end-to-end Source to Contract process for direct and indirect materials and services.
- Coordinate the qualification of new vendors and ensure compliance with vendor/corporate requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and address any issues with goods delivery.
- Maintain and update the approved vendor list, and contribute to vendor performance evaluations.
- Facilitate the evaluation and substitution of raw materials, and support supplier audits as required.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting (cost savings and procurement related).
- Support continuous improvement and other initiatives, eg: digitalization, process improvement, operational efficiency.
- Any other ad hoc duties when delegated.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business / Supply Chain management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience
- Familiar with SAP / ERP is a bonus
- Experience with Supplier Management (Performance review)
