RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing internal and external reporting team.
- Ensure timely review and submission of deliverables (MMR, DIVA, MAS, IRAS and ACRA).
- Support implementation of any new MAS regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Undertake any other survey/reporting related to external parties/regulatory bodies.
- Support Regional Actuary and Finance Head of Department in the annual MAS stress test exercise through review of relevant stress test templates.
- Lead and supervise staff on UAT for financial reporting system.
- Contribute to the production of internal reporting deliverables, statutory returns and tax filing.
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
- Accounting qualification or proven work experience
- Degree in Accounting
- Working experience in general (re)insurance or accounting firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent spreadsheet skills and presentation slides
- Well-equipped knowledge of insurance laws/guidelines and International Financial Reporting Standards
- Commercial understanding of the insurance business
- Good appreciation of financial accounting/internal controls
