Job Responsibilities
- Understand system design and business rules, and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct testing on each software component, demonstrating the business conditions under test and the expected results.
- Perform regression tests, functional tests, and data tests.
- Collaborate with business users on UAT test case design and execution, as well as providing support and feedback on user queries.
- Set up test environments, track defects, and coordinate with Product Owners, users, and the technical team to resolve issues and prioritize defects.
- Assist in building/modifying and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks for UI and API testing for web or mobile applications.
- Actively participate in new system functional delivery by contributing to testing efforts and planning for test automation development.
- Estimate work requirements for project sprint planning and report and track UAT progress.
- Stay updated on QA and testing best practices, as well as the latest available tools, frameworks, and standards, including HP Quality Centre and ALM.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing.
- Proficiency in Functional and Automation Test Tools.
- Strong knowledge of Windows application development, and familiarity with VBScript, SQL, PL/SQL, and HP Unified tools.
- Experience with HP ALM tool is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated high sense of ownership of assigned tasks, delivering work with high quality and efficiency.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, preferably with experience in Agile methodologies.
