Job Summary:
Key tasked with realizing strategic cost containment in procurement by formulating enduring commodity strategies. Additionally,responsible for establishing a resilient and adaptable supply chain to navigate evolving business conditions in the APAC region.
Job scope:
- Efficiently lead and cultivate the regional procurement organization
- Implement regional procurement initiatives, ensuring timely completion of key projects with a focus on cost optimization, NPI, value analysis, material sourcing, component localization, supplier quality, and indirect spend.
- Develop and execute strategies for key commodities
- Promote new technology and innovation with suppliers for product development, emphasizing cost optimization and performance enhancement
- Collaborate with the corporate procurement organization, providing input and contributing to overall procurement, category, and supplier strategy
Key Requirements:
- Msc / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields,
- Minimum 10 years of procurement and supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment. Ideally from Industrial Machinery / Industrial Sensor
- Prior Experience in supply chain & procurement transformation project
- Strategic regional procurement planning and business development
- Able to travel APAC for work assignment (around 25%)
