MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) SPECIFIC
1. Doctors' Professional Matters Administration
· Facilitate the progression process for Temporary and Conditionally registered doctors under the Singapore Medical Council Supervisory Framework, ensuring compliance with registration criteria.
· Assist in the submission of applications for additional/change of Practice Place.
· Manage the extension and renewal of Practicing Certificates for medical staff.
· Coordinate the Joint Committee on Specialist Training and House Officer Accreditation application process, including site inspections and accreditation tracking.
2. Medical Manpower Planning and Support
· Maintain the Medical Staff listing and Directory of Services, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
· Maintain an updated register of sub-committees and workgroups under the Clinical Board’s purview, handling appointments, renewals, and dissolutions.
· Regularly update job descriptions of all doctors.
· Organize and provide administrative support to retreats and events.
3. Training and Development Support
· Administer the Medical Observer (local/overseas) programme, handling Temporary Registration and logistical support.
· Facilitate the Clinical Fellowship programme, coordinating applications between relevant authorities and departments.
· Manage the Yishun Health and Ministry of Health Visiting Expert Scheme, from application to logistical support during visits.
· Administer the Ministry of Health Health Manpower Development Plan, including application facilitation and logistical support.
· Coordinate medical staff continuing medical education/training programmes, such as HMDP Sharing Sessions and Clinical Forums.
Track Compulsory Courses and Peer-Review Learning activities by medical staff and Junior doctors.
(B) GENERAL
· To provide secretariat support various committees/ workgroup under Yishun Health and ensure proper documentation of all meetings and follow-up.
· To participate in projects and task as deem appropriate by Assistant Director/ Deputy Director/ Assistant, Chairman Medical Board.
· To render administrative and professional support in hospital-level operation functions and events.
· Embrace continuous improvement as our way of life by improving and refining work performance on a daily basis.
· Responsible for assessing and identifying the potential risk that may hinder reputation, safety and financial well-being of an organisation.
