You will be a valued member of our world-class Global Operations (Partnerships & Corporate) team, responsible for all logistical arrangements of corporate partnerships, sponsorships and brand collaborations. In this role, you will be actively involved in the end-to-end logistical planning and smooth execution of shipments to ensure on time delivery to various partners and international esports tournaments/events.
This role is essential to supporting our key partnership programs with world-renowned brands, including Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organizers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of the logistical planning for all corporate partnerships and international e-sports tournaments/ events
- Identify and compare alternative delivery arrangements (including air & ocean freight) for corporate orders/ partnership initiatives to determine the most cost and time efficient method
- Regular monitoring of shipment status across multiple time zones (depending on events’ geographical location)
- Maintain excellent communications with key partners/ VIPs to understand their specific logistical requirements and inquiries on shipments
- Liaising with internal stakeholders on global warehouse inventories for fulfillment of corporate orders and partnership initiatives.
- Liaise and maintain key relationships with our local/ international freight partners to resolve or improve any logistical issues
- Communicate directly with logistic partners to resolve any logistical issues (e.g. custom clearance, delayed shipments, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal Vendor Management team to actively raise & resolve issues with Vendors (e.g. failure to adhere to SOPs) or Products (e.g. shipping lanes set-up for various regions)
- Analyze and generate monthly operational reports while reporting directly to the Operations Manager with action improvement plans.
- Drive efficiency through the optimization and streamlining of processes and systems
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma of Business Operations/ Supply Chain/ Logistics, or any other relevant course of studies
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant field with shipping logistics experience.
- Experience in handling inbound and outbound shipments (FCL/LCL) and shipping documents such as BL, PL, CI.
- Good understanding of the Shipping Incoterms (i.e FOB, DDP, DAP)
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (to converse with Mandarin speaking counterparts)
- Good problem solver who is able to diagnose issues across different regions and think out of the box for efficient solutions
