Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Professional Engineer regarding the Temporary works.
- Liaise with consultants (QPS) to resolve technical issues and ensure all site activities are in sync with subcontractors.
- Handle technical and engineering problems.
- Guide supervisors about construction works and ensure all work progress is according to schedule.
- Maintain quality standards, carries out site inspections, and resolved technical issues on time. - Prepare reports and method statements as and when necessary.
- Manage workers and monitor their work closely to keep the site safe and neat.
- Supervise ongoing site activities closely.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Singapore PE Board is required.
- The candidate should also be a registered Resident Engineer with IES/BCA and possess valid certification in Singapore.
- Preference will be given to those with experience in LTA Tunneling projects and as a PE assignee for standing supervision of works.
- Ability to communicate effectively with project principals and subcontractors is a must.
- The candidate should be willing to work 6 days/5.5 days per week.
