Job Description
We are looking for a candidate to work on the topic of 2D magnetic and superconducting materials, their heterostructures and devices, and perform their characterization at cryogenic temperatures in magnetic fields using scanning probe techniques and electrical measurements, as well as developing novel characterization methods.
Main responsibilities:
- Conducting high-quality research
- Low- and room-temperature scanning probe measurements (AFM, MFM, KPFM, etc.)
- Cryogenic electron transport measurements
- Data Analysis
- Writing of academic papers
- Mentoring of PhD students and interns
Job Requirements
- PhD degree in Physics, Material Science, or relevant field
- Experience with the above-mentioned experimental techniques
- Good publication track record and relevant research experience.
- Highly motivated and independent, ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Good written and spoken English communication skills
