My client, A blockchain, financial technology firm is expanding its DevOps team, focusing on AWS infrastructure with automation and a zero-trust security model. Responsibilities include cloud setup, DevSecOps implementation, and enterprise tech system management.
Role
The infrastructure is deployed on AWS with a cloud-first approach, featuring automated CI/CD pipelines. The enterprise follows a zero-trust security model, emphasizing automation across all operational aspects.You will gain exposure across various areas and is expected to learn different technologies essential for running an enterprise technology organization.
Responsibilities:
- Set up cloud infrastructure to support the growth of the technology and business landscape.
- Assist in planning, designing, and monitoring DevOps initiatives and tasks.
- Monitor and operate test and production cloud environments.
- Implement DevSecOps practices to automate and secure operation and changes to the cloud infrastructure.
- Manage releases and changes according to change management processes.
- Provide support for incidents according to incident management processes.
- Manage enterprise technology systems like Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Fresh Service.
Role-specific technical competencies:
- Strong Kubernetes experience.
- Experience/knowledge in AWS infrastructure setup and operation.
- Experience/knowledge of Microsoft Azure is advantageous.
- Experience/knowledge of Infra as Code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience/knowledge in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Familiarity with release management, problem/incident/event management processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365.
- Experience/knowledge in scripting with Bash, Shell, Python.
- Fast learner with a can-do attitude.
- Comprehensive debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong sense of ownership regarding achieving platform stability and automation.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Systems/Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Ideally possess relevant AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect/SysOps Administrator/DevOps Engineer).
