- Assist the HODs in managing the Engineering department and field operations.
- Carry out and supervise site investigation field tests - field permeability tests, plate load tests, vane shear tests etc.
- Plan, manage and supervise the site investigation work, soil classification, supervise drilling and sampling work
- preparation of site investigation
- Plan, manage and supervise the installations, monitoring, data processing, reporting for geotechnical instrumentation.
- Liaise with Clients, their representatives and the relevant authorities on matters relating to the projects’ progress and findings.
- Accept additional appointment necessary to carry out the responsibilities,
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology
- Minimum 3 years working experience in site investigation works
- Minimum 5 years working in in instrumentation work.
- Possess a valid Site Investigation Supervisor certificate issued by GeoSS
- Competent in the relevant Code of Practices, Statutory Standards and Regulations such as ISO17020:2012, BS 5930:2015; BS EN 1997 Part 2:2010; BS EN ISO 14688/9, BS 14688/9 and relevant standards.
