My client, a prominent player in the accounting industry, is looking for someone skilled in Accounts Payable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle invoices relating to purchases and accounts payable
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting principles. Proficient in GST and tax regulations
- Execute weekly payment runs accurately and punctually
- Address any vendor statements discrepancies or outstanding issues
- Maintain precise records within the accounting system
- Assist in month-end closing
- Assist in audit or fact checks for any discrepancies
Key Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent
- 2 years of experience of relevant accounting experience
- Proficient in using accounting software, excel and data analytics tools
- Able to multitask and prioritise work load
