About The Role

As an Executive/Senior Executive in ALPS, you will be base in our HQ at Jalan Bukit Merah and will be responsible for monthly closing (AP/AR/GL), audit schedules, and cost centre reports.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly closing of GL/AP/AR to meet the group submission timeline
  • Perform billings for all outgoing stock movements/services rendered to customers by the scheduled billing period
  • Follow up with operation/sales team on billing matters to ensure all billings are completely raised and credit notes are issued where necessary
  • Follow up on customer collections and update Account Receivable Aging Report
  • Supervise the day to day activities of account payable to ensure vendor invoices are processed accordingly
  • Follow up of vendor reconciliation items and open vendor items
  • Treasury functions including tracking payments and ensuring sufficient funds in bank account
  • Perform interco sales and purchase reconciliation
  • Responsible for journal postings on accruals for monthly closing
  • Prepare balance sheet schedules and follow up on oustanding matters in the schedule promptly
  • Prepare monthly cost centre reports and reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly management reports and provide variance analysis
  • Assist in government grant submission and reconciliation
  • Liaise with internal auditor, external auditor and tax agent


Requirements

  • Degree Finance / Accounting or ACCA holder
  • Minimally 2 years of similar working experience
  • Merticulous, good analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills
  • Good MS office skills (Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Experience in using SAP will be added advantage
  • Ability to prioritise work to meet timeline
