Role Description
As a Merchandise Manager, you will be responsible for
- overseeing the planning, Procurement and marketing of nerchandise in our retail outlets.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product assortments are optimized to meet sales goals and inventory levels are maintained to support business objectives.
- Issuing of Purchase Order to Suppliers
- Laise with suppliers and expedite delivery of goods
- Sourcing of suppliers
- Process delivery notes & invoives for goods received
- Monitor shipments
- Price negotiation
- Maintain proper purchasing records
- Inventory management
- Attend company and supplier exhibitions
Requirements
- Must possess at least a Bachelor degree in marketing, Business Administration or a related field
- At least 2 year of working experience in Merchandising or Buyer relevant
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good knowledge of retail sales, inventory methods and forecasting techniques
- Team work and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Willing to travel oversea such as China, Euro and Malaysia
