Salary offered: up to $2800
Work location: Tai Seng (Walking distance from Tai Seng MRT)
Work days: 5 days week, Mondays - Fridays 8.30am - 5.45pm

Purpose:
- To assist the Senior Maintenance Engineer in providing technical support to manufacturing operation in achieving the daily production goals
Job Responsibilities:
Production Equipment/Machine Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance in conformance to operational standards to ensure smooth operation of production machines and equipment
- Respond to all machine and equipment faults promptly and assist engineer in troubleshooting/repairing work
- Assist Engineer to contact approved vendors and contractors for machine/ equipment, spare parts and facility equipment for repair works and ensure that they are properly done and verified
- Assist engineer to perform trial run on new product requirements based on customer requirements
- Update spare parts inventory and inform engineer when inventory run low
- Perform safety, housekeeping and 5S
Production Facilities Utilities Maintenance
- Perform daily checking on waste water plant to ensure no overflowing, no leaking and neutralizing the acidity level
- Conduct checks, repair and replacement works on facilities utilities system on the production floor and ensure they are working properly
- Inspect all servicing/repair works of utility machines and equipment done by vendor and contractors are properly conducted and verified
Productivity and Innovation
- Identify potential improvement initiatives
- Implement feasible improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness, efficiency and/or economy
Administration
- Assist Engineer to update documents for machine maintenance
- Assist in updating respective relevant ISO and BCM documents
Requirements:
- NTC/ITC in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related fields
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in facilities / machine repairs and maintenance
- Possess basic IT Knowledge and Computer Skills
- Experience and technical knowhow in printing and packaging industry will be added advantage
- A good team player, good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- A responsible and independent worker who requires minimal supervision
