Job Scope
- Menu Planning: Develop and design menus that adhere to the specific dietary requirements and restrictions of patients and residents.
- Nutrition and Health Considerations: Ensure that the meals are nutritionally balanced and provide essential nutrients suitable for the health conditions and needs of the individuals in the healthcare facility
- Food Preparation, Food Safety and Sanitation & Quality Control
- Dietary Compliance & Specialized Diet Planning: Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare providers to create specialized meal plans for patients with specific dietary needs or medical conditions
Job Requirements
- Knowledgeable about nutrition, food safety, and culinary techniques, as well as be sensitive to the dietary needs and health conditions of the patients and residents they serve
- Good communication and teamwork skills
