Accounts Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Xero accounting software to manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, as well as periodic financial analyses.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, accounting regulations, and changes in Xero software functionality.

Job Requirements:

  • Certificate in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience working as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.
  • Prior experience in using other accounting software platforms in addition to Xero.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
