Job Description
- Plan, develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth, and enhance brand awareness of architectural glass products in Asia and Oceania.
- Plan and execute capacity allocation of glass products in the above-mentioned regions, in collaboration with suppliers.
- Establish differentiation of sales activities and services to cater to specific market needs.
- Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements.
- Work with sales staff to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share, while balancing with customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage channel distribution partners.
- Establish annual budgets, and monitor revenues and expenses.
- Prepare monthly management reports for the MD and headquarters in Japan.
- Ensure that the above-mentioned activities and systems comply with requirements of headquarters in Japan.
Job Requirements
- Fluent in Japanese (Level N1) to communicate with headquarters in Japan and other overseas offices.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 8 years of experience with and strong knowledge of architectural glass products and other construction materials.
- At least 4 years of experience with and strong knowledge of products, industry prospects, technical requirements, market potential and key stakeholders related to smart glass.
- Broad experience in strategy formulation, policy deployment and management systems (e.g. sales, marketing).
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable with interacting with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, organizational, project, team management and supervisory skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and effectively resolve complaints and issues.
