The Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP) invites applications for the position of Research Scientist.
Key Responsibilities:
- To optimize the slurry formulations for 3D printing.
- To improve the material properties to fulfill design requirement.
- Build prototypes and test with industry collaborators.
- Draft technical report and manuscript for publication.
- Mentor phd/FYP students
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree in materials science & engineering, master degree or bachelor degree with 2nd upper honor may be considered.
- At least 1 year’s relevant experience in material research. Work experience in ceramic processing is preferred.
- Experience in 3D printing of materials and using SolidWork or other digital model building software is preferred.
- Prefer to having published 1-2 peer reviewed papers.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent teamwork awareness.
- Good communication and writing in English.
- Self-motivation, strong responsibility for research / work
