Job Description:
As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and filing accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, and advising on tax-related issues. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to handling complex tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring timely submission.
• Review financial documents and reports to ensure accurate tax reporting.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax regulations and advise on their implications for the company and clients.
• Provide support during tax audits and assist in negotiations with tax authorities.
• Develop tax strategies aimed at optimizing financial performance and minimizing tax liabilities.
• Collaborate with other departments to offer tax advice and support on various projects.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate or consulting setting.
• Solid understanding of Singaporean tax laws and international tax principles.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
