About Our Client:
- Our client is one of the well-known Japanese based comprehensive engineering companies which based in Singapore.
- Working Hour: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Location: Based on the projects, either at AMK or East or West Region of Singapore
- Salary Package: Basic up to $4,000 + AWS + VB
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, method statements, and regulations.
- Perform design calculations, cost estimations, and prepare engineering plans.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations as per tender specifications.
- Verify equipment and materials for compliance with specifications and drawings.
- Create and maintain weekly work schedules and documentation.
- Ensure proper execution of temporary works as planned.
- Supervise workmen and subcontractors to ensure adherence to building standards, quality, timelines, and safety protocols.
- Oversee the work of junior supervisors under supervision.
- Maintain daily work records, including additional work claims.
- Prepare progress reports for consultants and owners.
- Handle any ad-hoc projects as assigned.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must have minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Semi-Con industry.
- Strong knowledge of M&E details, working drawings and local construction practices Conversant with local codes and regulations.
- Able to check combined services drawings and coordination problems with other trades
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and communicate changes as required.
- Ability to draw detailed coordination drawings and sketches and resolve technical problems with subcontractors.
- Is a good team player and is analytical and a problem solver.
- Excellent in communication skills, both verbal and writing skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management.
- Proficient Microsoft Office and other IT software.
