Warehouse Operator Duties & Responsibilties:
- Work under supervision and direction of Plant Manager and Warehouse Supervisor
- Help to carry out all product loading and unloading tasks
- Double-check items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders
- Make sure that all stock is accounted for and is accurately recorded
- Perform detailed manual inventory counts
- Maintains an accurate inventory records
- Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations at all times
- Wear protective clothing and equipment as required
- Perform basic cleaning duties to keep the production/warehouse tidy
- Work with other production and warehouse team members to effectively complete assigned tasks
Warehouse Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- Min secondary level / or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a production/warehouse environment
- The ability to lift and move heavy objects
- The ability to stand for extended periods
- Thorough, alert and detail-oriented
- Effective communication skills
- Dependable and responsible
