Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Director to support our fund management operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in setting strategic direction, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role demands a leader with a sufficient understanding of financial markets, a track record of fund management, and the ability to navigate the complex regulatory landscape of Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to shaping and executing the company’s strategic vision and investment philosophy in line with stakeholder expectations and market opportunities.
• Oversee the formulation and execution of investment strategies to optimize fund performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry norms, upholding integrity and transparency across all operations.
• Lead, inspire, and develop the investment and operational teams to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Foster strong relationships with investors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to enhance the company’s reputation and business prospects.
• Supervise risk management policies and procedures to mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Monitor financial markets, economic trends, and regulatory changes to proactively adjust strategies and operations.
• Represent the company in public forums, industry conferences, and media engagements to reinforce its leadership in the fund management sector.
Qualifications:
• Meet the 'Proper and Fit' test and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) legislative requirements for Registered Fund Management Companies (RFMC) and Licensed Fund Management Companies (LFMC) with ample experience and qualifications.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; possessing a Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) is highly advantageous.
• Possess extensive experience in fund management or a senior leadership role within the financial services industry, demonstrating a track record of success.
• Exhibit a sound understanding of Singapore’s regulatory landscape and compliance standards pertaining to fund management.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships across all levels.
• Embrace a strong ethical foundation, committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
