Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and reviewing internal controls and governance of business units and supporting functions across the Southeast Asia (SEA) market
• Plan & develop audit programs and perform operations review on business units and supporting functions for identifying control weaknesses and providing appropriate recommendations for improvements
• Perform cash and inventory audits in outlets for ensuring compliance to the Group’s policies and guidelines
• Perform data analytics to identify irregularities and carry out special audits
• Prepare audit reports and perform subsequent follow-up on the implementation of audit recommendations
• Assist in insurance claim handling, as and when required
• Assist in reviewing and providing practical advice to business units and supporting functions on internal control, corporate governance and risk management
• Assist in facilitating corporate governance and risk management initiatives of the SEA market
• Assist in evaluating business units’ and supporting functions’ operations and ensure relevant control and risk management are in place properly
• Perform ad hoc assignments as requested
• Station in Singapore and 10-20% overseas travelling will be required
Requirements:
• Holder of University Degree in Accounting or related disciplines
• 2-4 years of external audit and/or internal audit experience, preferably a student/member of professional bodies (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with strong analytical mind
• Be proactive, self-initiative and well-organized
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Proficient in using PC applications
