Job Description

  • Implement personal budget and performance targets.
  • Be responsible for relationship maintaining, business development, financial planning and risk control with customers and interbank institutions.
  • Be responsible for developing new customer pipelines and actively expanding institutional banking businesses.
  • Provide consultancy and receive credit applications (including renewal, facility increase, facility alteration and change of credit terms and conditions for existing credit cases), be responsible for in-situ interview and filling the call memo as well as drafting the credit terms and conditions and producing credit review form and, where necessary, attending relevant review meetings to explain the credit cases in person.
  • Be responsible for completing and inspecting the customer credit investigation work and relevant paperwork (including credit investigation report (including paperwork investigation, such as financial statement analysis, party of interest enquiry, Joint Credit Information Center enquiry and securities enquiry, and on site credit investigation), cross-reference appraisal report and other paperwork) produced by assistant relationship managers (ARM).
  • Notify customers of the approval/rejection results of credit applications and oversee the guarantor-witnessing and contract signing processes thereafter or appoint an ARM to oversee the aforementioned matters.
  • Track continuously the industrial updates, going concerns and business needs of customers.
  • Set forth the terms and conditions of the approved credit facility and administer the follow-up management or other significant incident reporting and tracking.
  • Supervise ARM on handling customers’ more-than-one-business-day due payment reminder and follow-up affairs (for due payment less than one business day, the reminder will be carried out by telephone call by the operation services clerk).
  • Oversee or appoint an ARM to process collection matters and liaise with relevant departments.
  • Oversee the paperwork preparation and process of the guarantor-witnessing, contract signing and account opening (preparation of contract and verification of contract content and version shall be done by credit administration personnel) or appoint an ARM to oversee the aforementioned.
  • Process or authorize operation services clerks to process matters relating to interest rate / exchange rate.
  • Conduct review and evaluate credit assets.
  • Oversee other matters instructed by the Institutional Banking Division, branch manager or line manager.

Job Requirement

  • Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
  • Familiar with basic corporate banking products including trade, loans, capital markets and treasury in order to effectively support the business
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin as the role requires written and verbal communication in Traditional Chinese with Mandarin-speaking colleagues in Taiwan.
