Duties And Responsibilities:
-Interface coordination with various parties such as Consortium partner, Detailed engineering SubContractor, Installation Sub-Contractor, agencies and Hook-up & commissioning agencies, Construction coordination, expediting engineering deliverables, resolving construction issues.
-Coordinating & expediting Technical interfaces between various engineering offces of the project design team and construction team.
-Review, critique and advice on the interface management documentation from each of the package Contractor's to ensure that the outputs satisfy the Engineer's procedural requirements and the Contractor's obligations to the Employer.
-Lead and manage the project-wide interface management process, and thereby fulfil the Engineer's obligations
as defined in the approved "Interface Management Plan" / "Procedure for Interface Management".
-Administer the cross-package inputs to the Interface Management Database and ensure that each Contractor
initiates, manages and closes out all interface issues in a timely manner with traceable documentation.
-Organise, chair, control and minute regular Monthly Interface Coordination Meetings with the Client/Stakeholders and all Contractors to promote cross- package interaction and close cooperation between all parties on the project.
-Report to the Employer, Client, Stakeholders, PMC or the Engineer's Senior Management on specific and generic interface management issues project-wide, both on an ad-hoc and monthly basis.
-Monitor status of interface agreements across project and provide regular updates to Project Managers where appropriate.
-Assisting review and finalization of overall project schedules, progress monitoring and expediting participation in finalization of Sub- Contracts.
-Project planning, scheduling planning meetings and progress check-ins, estimating and monitoring project costs, sticking to a budget, and reviewing project quality compared to the desired objective.
-Collaborating with project managers, team leaders, superintendents, and engineering professionals working on
the project.
-Develop or update operating policies for team communication and safety and risk mitigation.
Requirements:
-Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Engineering.
-Minimum 10 years of experience.
-Familiar with P6.
-Professional Engineer with civil project management experience.
-Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, contract administration, scheduling, safety regulations.
-Progress planning and monitoring.
-Have excellent problem solving skills.
-Comfortable to work in Tuas Water Reclaimation Plant in Tuas South Area (pick up transport provided at Boon Lay MRT)
