Responsibilities:
The Engineering Manager is responsible for delivering projects and liaising with clients to deliver customized solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project planning, coordination, and execution.
- Design and integration of automation systems according to project requirements.
- Graphical design of the electrical network.
- Plan installation schedule with client and installer
- Testing and commissioning of systems.
- Preparation of project documents and drawings.
- Manage a group of Application Engineers.
Candidates should be able to work independently and as team players on simultaneous projects with compressed timelines. Candidates should also expect limited travel to interface with customers, and attend or exhibit at conferences and trade shows.
Requirements:
- The candidate is preferable with at least a Degree in the Engineering field (Electrical or Power & Automation, experienced candidates are welcome.)
- Experience/knowledge in SCADA, PLC & HMI in Power System Control or Environmental Control Systems is an added advantage.
- Knowledge/experience in Power Quality application is a plus.
- Knowledge of data communication and automation systems for electrical networks.
- Knowledge and experience in IT networking as well as server/VM setup.
- Required skill(s): Microsoft Office, Savvy in various computer skills such as computer networking, setting up new PC/VMs, and knowledge of electrical systems.
- Mature and able to handle tasks independently, result-oriented, and self-driven team player with good communication skills.
- Good personality, responsible, hardworking person.
- Fast learner and good soft skills.
- Ability to work as a team, lead and supervise the contractors.
- Experience in people and team management in administrative and functional aspects.
- Process excellent team spirit and good leadership.
- Minimum 10 years of experience.
