Our client is a prominent property and hospitality group listed across Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, and Africa. They are in search of an experienced Manager with strong technical expertise to lead a team in Singapore.
The Job
- Lead a team of technicians, housekeepers, and security personnel to oversee daily building operations, including defect inspections, preventive maintenance, and carpark management.
- Address feedback, incidents, and emergencies while managing tenant relations and organizing engagement activities.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely services as per contractual obligations.
- Monitor and renew term contracts and statutory licenses promptly.
- Manage building defects, repairs, and procurement processes, including sourcing quotations, issuing purchase orders, and handling contract agreements.
- Oversee tenancy handovers, fitting-out works, CAPEX projects, and maintain property data. Also, assist in preparing monthly management reports and maintain various systems such as tenant portals and access control.
The Talent
- Hold a Degree/Diploma in Building Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial buildings.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with a background in tenant management within retail malls/commercial buildings.
- Demonstrate independence, resourcefulness, meticulousness, and a result-oriented, positive attitude, while being a team player capable of thriving in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Experience in tenant management within retail malls or commercial buildings is preferred, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments. Familiarity with SAP software is considered advantageous.
- Skilled in efficiently submitting documents and reports, with a focus on engineering specifications, and familiarity with ITQ and ITT processes.
- Experienced in troubleshooting M&E operations and capable of leading the operations team.
