Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various marine navigation and communication systems such as Marine Equipment, chartplotters, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, VHF radios, MF/HF SSB, autopilots, maritime IT equipment, and VSAT systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections on installed systems to ensure they perform optimally and comply with safety regulations.
- Efficiently diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of onboard systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate installations, upgrades, and repairs as required, while staying updated on industry developments and regulations.
Requirements:
- Min. Degree in Electronics Engineering
- Min. 4 years of experience in Marine Navigation and communication systems
- Possess a General operator’s certificate of competency
