Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain life-saving appliances (LSA) and fire-fighting appliances (FFA) on vessels, ensuring adherence to class regulations and SOLAS requirements.
- Regularly inspect and test liferafts, lifeboats, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, and other firefighting equipment following manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
- Perform annual maintenance and certification of LSA/FFA equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs for regulatory compliance, collaborating with ship crews and stakeholders to ensure the safe operation of life-saving and fire-fighting systems.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Maritime engineering
- Min 4 years of exp as a LSA/FFA Technician
