Responsibilities
- Assist in the financial and commercial evaluation of deals and opportunities, including project financing, valuations, investments, partnerships, M&A transactions, development of greenfield projects, etc.
- Responsible for building, maintaining and running robust financial models for the purposes of valuation, assessing financial and commercial viability, due diligence and financing
- Conduct and deliver high quality analysis and data including through running scenarios and sensitivity analysis
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids, working closely with cross-functional teams
- Provide assistance in executing and closings of transactions, including development of initial term sheets, transaction structuring, negotiations of final documentation, etc.
Requirements
- At least 3 - 5 years of either M&A or project finance/structured finance experience specialising in Power Generation/Oil & Gas sectors
- Candidates with corporate finance experience handling M&A projects coming from Big4 consulting firm with a focus in the relevant sectors can be considered as well
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in relevant field such as Accounting, Banking and Finance, Mathematics, etc.
- Candidates who possess CFA will have an added advantage
- Strong financial modelling skillset with good understanding of valuation foundation is required
- Possess proficiency in building complex financial models
