Avetics is seeking a versatile and dynamic engineer who is hands-on in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems of drones. Here's a breakdown of the typical responsibilities:


System Design: Designing the electrical and electronic systems of drones, including power distribution, motor control, communication systems, sensors, and onboard computing systems. This involves analyzing requirements, selecting appropriate components, and creating detailed schematics and circuit diagrams.


Component Selection: Researching and selecting components such as motors, batteries, sensors, microcontrollers, and communication modules to meet the performance, reliability, and cost requirements of the drone design


Prototyping and Testing: Building prototypes of drone electrical systems and conducting rigorous testing to verify performance, reliability, and compliance with specifications and regulatory standards. This may involve bench testing, simulation, and field testing in various environmental conditions.


Integration: Collaborating with mechanical engineers and other team members to integrate electrical and electronic systems into the overall drone design. Ensuring compatibility, reliability, and optimal performance of all integrated systems.


Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identifying and resolving issues related to electrical and electronic systems during development, testing, and production phases. This may involve troubleshooting hardware and software problems, analyzing test results, and implementing corrective actions.


Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that drone electrical and electronic systems comply with relevant standards and certifications


Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of electrical and electronic designs, including specifications, schematics, bill of materials (BOM), test procedures, and compliance reports.


Continuous Improvement: Continuously improving drone electrical and electronic systems through innovation, optimization, and incorporation of new technologies. Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.


Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software engineers, firmware engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical and electronic systems with other aspects of drone design and functionality.


Customer Support: Providing technical support to customers, partners, and internal teams regarding electrical and electronic aspects of drones. Addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on maintenance and repair.


Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering
  • Recently graduates are welcome to apply
