Scope: Site Engineer
Job Description:
- Conduct land marine surveys to gather accurate data for the reclamation project
- Utilize Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS survey equipment to perform precise surveys and establish control points on-site.
- Assist and support Project Manager in handling and monitoring the progress of project, incorporating survey data.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and safety standards of reclamation work with heavy land equipment
- Control and maintain the safe and smooth progress of works
- To co-ordinate with clients, sub-contractors and workers on all project aspects to ensure smooth and timely implementation.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, identify any deviations, and provide technical guidance to the construction team.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for surveying activities.
- Troubleshoot surveying equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Monitoring of site activities, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and schedule of works
- Completing records for site reports.
- Attending site management meetings.
- Any other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in reclamation projects
- Strong expertise in land marine surveying techniques, including the use of total stations, leveling instruments, and other surveying tools.
- Proficiency in Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS surveying methods and equipment.
- Candidate must have strong knowledge and experience in RC & Precast work of bridge.
- Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work offshore and in the Tuas South Boulevard area.
