Design Team Leader/Senior Facade Designer
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Design Team in executing facade design works.
- Plan and organize design tasks to meet construction schedule.
- Provide guidance and allocate work to team members, ensuring quality and productivity.
- Ensure that design deliverables, drawings, and other outputs meet required standards and specifications.
- Identify and communicate any additional work or variations to the Project Manager/Contract Manager for approval.
- Coordinate with Consultants, Main Contractor, and other parties involved in the project.
- Assist the site team in resolving site clashes and interface issues.
- Participate in workshops and lead the review and comment process for shop drawings, ensuring constructability and design quality.
- Manage the design change process, minimizing impact on project schedule and cost.
- Resolve unforeseen interface problems during different design phases.
Job Requirements:
- Essential skills: design development, design management.
- Advantageous knowledge and skills in Revit and Rhino; ability to read and extract information from 3D models in these formats.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and leadership abilities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facade design.
