A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a Research Engineer I who will conduct cutting-edge research on large language models (LLMs) for Southeast Asian languages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in the field of neural networks, natural language processing (NLP), and large language models (LLMs)
- Critically evaluate existing literature and propose new ideas under supervision
- Write papers and present the research work to a wide audience
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and above in computer science, artificial intelligence, or related disciplines
- Strong background in Python and PyTorch programming
- Excellent mathematical literacy and familiarity with linear algebra and probability theory
- Curiosity, keen observation, grit, and communication skills
- Keen observation for clues that most people may overlook
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Excellent teamwork, sense of responsibility, and interpersonal skills
