Lifting Supervisor (Free Lance)

Job Title: Freelance Lifting Crew for Lorry Crane (10 Ton - 110 Ton)

Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Freelance Lifting Crew members for lorry cranes ranging from 10 to 110 tons. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of lifting operations and crane projects. Your responsibilities will primarily involve signaling, rigging of cargo (for Rigger and Signalman), and/or supervising the lifting process (for lifting supervisor). You will be tasked with ensuring the smooth execution of lifting operations, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining effective communication with team members to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities (Rigger and Signalman)

1. Selecting and preparing rigging equipment for lifting operations.
2. Securely attaching loads to rigging equipment, ensuring proper balance and weight distribution.
3. Communicating with the crane operator using standardized hand signals or radio communication.
4. Monitoring lifts for safety and stability throughout the process.
5. Conducting pre-lift inspections of rigging equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of rigging equipment and lifting gear.
7. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities (Lifting Supervisor)

1. Conduct pre-lift inspections of equipment and ensure proper setup for lifting operations.
2. Supervise and coordinate the lifting process to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
3. Communicate effectively with the on-site contractors, crane operator and fellow crew members to coordinate lifting activities smoothly.
4. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to mitigate risks during lifting operations.
5. Coordinating with team members to ensure smooth and safe lifting operations

Requirements

1. Singaporean & PR only.
2. Prior experience in rigging, signaling, or supervising lifting operations is preferred.
3. Possession of the WSQ Supervise Safe Lifting Operations certificate / WSQ Perform Rigger and Signalman Task or equivalent certification.
4. Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures related to lifting activities.
5. Ability to interpret and follow instructions accurately.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks associated with lifting operations.
8. Flexibility to work variable hours and weekends based on project requirements.

(Training will be provided)
